Invisible Women Melting

 

Invisible Women Melting is an award winning one-act play written by Jessica Ann Mitchell that addresses climate justice and poverty. It connects the ways in which Black women around the world are affected by the negative effects of Climate Change. The setting is Atlanta, GA and Imbaseni Village in the Maji ya Chai District of Tanzania. Invisible Women Melting was honored as the Best 2009 Master’s Thesis in The College of Arts & Sciences at Syracuse University. Learn more about How Climate Change Affects Black Women.
